Milan Furniture Fair 2012 Preview: Characterise your space with a masterpiece from Emmemobili!

For over twenty years Emmemobili have successfully combined modern art with the handcrafted skill of wood manufacturing together with breath taking effect.

Innovative research into new shapes, material combinations and manufacturing techniques, have attributed towards achieving “pieces of art”, with their own personality, not necessarily linked to one another, but each for itself.

The “Emmemobili habitat” doesn’t exist. What instead exists are the pieces that, from time to time, are chosen by the architects and interior designers to characterise a space, to insert one or more masterpieces that will enrich and symbolise the style of those are living in it.

So, along the years, the collection is the result of blending items with more clear lines together with other more decorative or unusual objects, with the common denominator of being timeless masterpieces.

Here are some of the pieces, which have taken our eye from the new Emmemobili collection, which will be shown on their stand at Salone 2012…

TWAYA designed by  Ferruccio Laviani

Table of gorgeous design. The solid oak wood is worked up to its shapes imitate the lateral waving of a tablecloth.

CAPRI designed by Ferruccio Laviani

The inlay reinterpreted in modern key is the theme of this table, together with the combination of the materials with their innovative use.

The inner structure of birch multilayer is covered with ceramics shaped units or in laminated or in thick wood, creating a decoration of shapes and different colours.

TILES designed Ferruccio Laviani

Sideboard characterised for being covered on 3 sides from shaped elements in solid oak wood with different shapes, which make a kind of tile roof.

S-CUBE designed Ferruccio Laviani

Sideboards units to be suspended to the wall. Single or to be combined to make any composition.

ARLEQUIN designed by Ferruccio Laviani

Unusual shaped low sideboard equipped with doors shaped to follow the geometrical front design and decorated by triangles of different materials.
