Products from Chaplins featured in this months Concept for Living includes the Domino Entertainment / Storage System from Porada and Gruber + Schlager’s Amineo Furniture Collection

Amineo has all the endless diversity of nature itself. According to individual preferences, either the organic character of wood occupies the spotlight, or Amineo becomes part of symbioses with high-gloss painted surfaces and elegant chrome elements.

Amineo is a basic planning programme, which offers an astonishing degree of design freedom and due to individual tailor-made production, is also ideal for wall niches. As an endless design shelving system with lock-in supports and shelves, Amineo can be supplemented at will with revolving doors, a sliding door and flaps, which can open either downwards or upwards as desired. Moreover, functional solutions for flexible and hidden cabling permit the ingenious integration of home electronics systems.

The complex craftsmanship of rebate fronts and bodies also lend Amineo a modern, delicate look in its solid wood versions and the range is rounded of by attractively designed solitaire pieces and a suspended shelf system with sliding doors.

The Faberge Geneva store has recently had a face lift by Jaime Hayon who brings a bit of glamour into the 21st Century mod aristocracy. The boutique interior is no longer intimidating but still expresses a world of luxury, importance and elegance as before.

Through the use of design simplicity and high-end precious materials the atmosphere is calm, soft, bright and new age aristocratic.

In the prime living room overlooking the French doors is a corner that has a purely residential feel. This features an arrangement that balances the heaviness of the exquisite upholstered Maxalto Febo Chairs with the wooden and delicate Ceccotti D.R.D.P Love Seat to lovely effect.

The furniture is typical of Hayon’s signature with wooden finishes that are quite precious.  The same applies for all lighting fixtures. The Metalarte Josephine Queen ceiling pendant follows this clean modern cut design with a hint of old world and glamour through it’s metallic shine.  These features contribute to the boutique’s perfect balance between traditional and contemporary interior design.

Please contact our showroom on 020 8421 1779 if you would like further information on any of the pieces mentioned above.
