Product Description
Created by acclaimed designer Jamie Hayon in 2015 for luxury Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen, Fri is an open and welcoming lounge chair. It's gentle curves and tall legs reveal a serene Nordic expression, making it the ideal lounge chair for lovers of Scandinavian design.
Materials & Finishes
Shell - Hard polyurethane foam with glass fiber re-enforcement along the edges. The seat cushion is made of moulded polyurethane foam. The back cushion on the chair is made of two slices of soft foam with a lumbar support to increase durability and comfort.
Upholstery Available online in Fritz Hansen's Christianhavn fabric or Safire fabric.
Base - Four legs made of brushed aluminium or solid oak with a clear lacquer finish. Each leg has nylon glides suitable for a majority of floors.
Foot Stool - Optional footstool in matching finishes.Dimensions

Most furniture and large items are delivered by our two-man Furniture Delivery service.
Items held in stock are typically delivered in 8-10 working days, if the delivery address is within the M25. Outside the M25, delivery may take up to 21 working days.
For items with production times, our logistics team will contact you to arrange a suitable time for delivery once we have received the items into our warehouse.

Place and pay for your order online and we’ll deliver it to our main showroom in Hatch End ready for your collection.
We’ll contact you when your order is available; for in stock items this is within 5 days of your order date, items not held in stock will be within 5 working days of arrival at our warehouse (see product page for indicative lead times).
Remember to bring your confirmation email with you as proof of purchase.

Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974 where he was trained as an industrial designer. In 1997, he started working as a researcher for Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication research centre in Italy. His individual career began in 2004. Since then he has applied his artistic and designer’s talent to the conception of toys, furniture, and interior design as well as artistic installations.
His boldness transcends the borders of the worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his unique perception.
The eponymous Fritz Hansen sits at the pinnacle of Danish design and has played home to design royalty including Arne Jacobsen, Piet Henn and Hans Wegner. Some noteworthy collaborations include the iconic Arne Jacobsen Egg™ Chair, The Swan™ and the stunning Fritz Hansen Super Elliptical Dining Table. A seamless blend of timeless classics and contemporary must-haves, Fritz Hansen has a rich tradition of supporting visionary designers in bringing their creations into fruition and providing an international platform.
