Product Description

Created by George Nakashima, the Nakashima Tray is a wonderful example of how Knoll Studio take authentic classic designs and entwine modern simplicity. Crafted to compliment the Spray-Leg Table, this piece is created from Douglas Fir and Wenge or Brazilian Santos.

Materials & Finishes

Top is constructed of solid Douglas Fir lumber that is quarter-cut and finished in a clear low-sheen finish. Edge is available in solid Brazilian Santos or solid Wenge. Edges are joined with mortise and tenon joints. Finished in a clear, low-sheen finish.

Delivery to your door is £14.99 or you can collect from our Hatch End showroom free of charge.

Place and pay for your order online and we’ll deliver it to our main showroom in Hatch End ready for your collection.

We’ll contact you when your order is available; for in stock items this is within 5 days of your order date, items not held in stock will be within 5 working days of arrival at our warehouse (see product page for indicative lead times).

Remember to bring your confirmation email with you as proof of purchase.

George Nakashima studied Architecture at the University of Washington, the Ecole Americaine des Beaux-Arts Fontainebleau in France and the Massachussetts Institute of Technology.

.Wood craftsman and poet, Nakashima worked for Antonin Raymond, and took part in several one-man exhibitions. He wrote The Soul of a Tree: A Woodworker’s Reflections where we are allowed to have an intimate look at his artistry.
