About Simon Pengelly
Simon Pengelly was born in Henley in 1967, brought up in an environment favorable to creativity, as his father owned a workshop where Simon learnt about the art of creating. At the young age of 15 he received his first award as a cabinetmaker. He pursued his education by attending classes at Rycotewood College and Kingston Polytechnic where he finally graduated in 1988.
Possessing a pragmatic approach to problem solving and his affinity with materials and manufacturing processes attracted briefs, which have resulted in award-winning furniture.
Simon Pengelly is always attached to his work and passionate desire to create furniture with 'soul'.
