About George Nakashima
George Nakashima studied Architecture at the University of Washington, the Ecole Americaine des Beaux-Arts Fontainebleau in France and the Massachussetts Institute of Technology.
.Wood craftsman and poet, Nakashima worked for Antonin Raymond, and took part in several one-man exhibitions. He wrote The Soul of a Tree: A Woodworker’s Reflections where we are allowed to have an intimate look at his artistry.
