The art of decoupage can be traced back centuries. It involves covering an object with paper cut-outs which are then sealed in many layers of varnish to create the effect of a painting or inlay work.

Katie has always been fascinated by the female form and sees endless beauty in the curves and spaces in between.

Having focused mainly on working with practical objects such as furniture, it has long been her desire to combine her decoupage skills with the provocative shape of the feminine silhouette.
