Description
In the PA' 1947 Desk, Cassina rediscover the roots of mid-century modern styling. Originally designed by Ico Parisi, its return for 2020 is part of Cassina's dedication to building on the legacies of some of Made in Italy's finest designers. A somewhat notorious figure, Parisi was once designed by Gio Ponti as "troubled, never left in peace by fantasy." Over the course of his lifetime he would produce a wide range of eclectic furnishings, each a delightful expression of creativity and flair. His love of contrast is particularly evident in the PA’ 1947 console, with its smooth, rich top and tapered, tense legs.
