Description
"This lamp reaches the height of simplification with its reduction to a sheet of metal folded on itself. Indeed, the charm of this object derives from the simplicity and naturalness of its form, through a gesture that gains a compelling poetic flair. By way of contrast, the soft luminosity radiating from within emphasises the two rounded edges that, with their folds, stretch out to meet each other at the centre. When the lamp is switched off, the functional aspect is entirely subordinate to the elegantly sculptural aspect of the curved sheet. In this way the design brilliantly resolves what for many lighting devices, when switched off, is merely an anonymous if not cumbersome presence. Regarding the origins of this project, Sergio Gandini recalls the impromptu way in which they responded to the request for a wall lamp by cutting and folding a simple piece of cardboard in front of one of his waiting team members."

STANDARD PARCEL DELIVERY
Parcel delivery is available for most home accessories, gifts, lighting and some smaller items of furniture. To provide a high quality service for our customers, we only use well respected couriers for our parcel deliveries and you can rest assured that your parcel is trackable at every stage.

The typical delivery window is 24 hours from the day your items arrive at our warehouse (see product page for indicative lead times).
All items purchased that are in stock will be sent out to you within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered multiple items, we will send these out to you in one delivery as soon as they all arrive at our warehouse and they have been quality checked.
*Standard delivery does not include assembly or unpacking. Occasionally the delivery company may require assistance unloading larger items.

Our warehouse located in St Albans will contact you when your order is available for collection; for in stock items this is within 5 days of your order date, items not held in stock will be within 5 working days of arrival at our warehouse (see product page for indicative lead times).
