The Kaiser Idell collection is considered one of the emblems of Bauhaus lighting design. Its sleek silhouette and graphic lines revealed the School's ability to create modern designs that would appear just as timeless a century later. This AW19, Fritz Hansen has released the Kaiser Idell Pendant in four gorgeous glossy hues. A mixture of warm and cool tones, it is slightly smaller than the original pendant and looks gorgeous in colourful clusters or as a stand-alone luminaire.

Materials & Finishes

The steel shades are coated with acid-hardening lacquer. Other metal parts are chrome plated. The pendant is available in Soft Ochre, Russet Red, Smooth Slate or Black (high gloss). Black textile cord.

Fritz Hansen offer a standard five year warranty against manufacturing defects (i.e. materials and design). Normal wear and tear and damage of covers are not covered by the warranty. The warranty for wicker and lamps is 2 years.

Christian Dell was a German silversmith and designer. From 1922 to 1925 he invested himself to become a foreman of a metal workshop at the Bahaus in Weimar. He was considered as the talent behind the designs which are distinguished as having a highly innovative style and design.
