Form follows function. It’s an idea that’s often touted by contemporary designers and was intrinsic to all designs produced by the creatives at the Bauhaus School of The Arts. One such pioneer was Marcel Breuer, who was among the first to experiment with industrial methods of making. Together with his colleagues, he made tubular steel furniture a modern institution, bringing forth a variety of stylish cantilevered chairs and stools.
