About Florence Knoll
Florence Knoll studied Architecture at the Kingswood School on the campus of the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, where she became Eero Sarrinen's protégé. She pursued her education in Architecture at the Architectural Association in London and the Armour Institute (Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago).
A year after the Second World War she became a full business and design partner and married Hans Knoll. The two created Knoll Associates who have pioneered modernist vision to bold contemporary designs for home and office.
