A truly dramatic dining set consisting of the Knoll Saarinen Tulip Dining Table in Nero Marquina marble and six black Knoll Tulip Chairs (with swivel).
The Saarinen Tulip collection was first designed in 1957 by Eero Saarinen. Part furnishing, part sculpture, its pedestal base shoots upwards like a futuristic bloom, a sinuous solution to what Saarinen called “the slum of legs” beneath tables. Today, it’s become a symbol of mid-century modernity. As timeless now as it was back then.

This particular listing refers to the Saarinen Tulip Round dining table set — a sweeping example of a mid-century style that promises to infuse your dining room with a newfound sense of story and style. The Ø 137 cm Saarinen Tulip table can seat 6 people. Authenticity is ensured by a nameplate with the KnollStudio logo and the signature of Eero Saarinen, located on the underside of the top or on the top support plate (depending on the model chosen).

Delivery & Returns
Delivery
Chaplins White Glove Standard shipping service includes the following:
- Delivery up to and including 3rd floor of your building/home
- Two-man team to bring your piece to a room of your choice
- Full packaging removal
- Installation up to 30 minutes
While Chaplins has an in-house delivery team, we do employ third-party white glove services for certain deliveries, particularly those with special requirements. Please be aware that if your delivery requirements exceed our standard service, such as requiring more fitters or assembly time, surcharges may apply.
Our online sales department will contact you prior to delivery to discuss your requirements, including access checks and placement. If your order cannot be delivered due to restricted access, you may request delivery to an alternative address within 2 months - please note that this will incur costs for storage and redelivery.
For items that cannot fit into the room of choice through conventional delivery means, we can deliver via platform hoist, ropes or crane with a surcharge. Our third-party fitters are trained to remove wooden and UPVC sash windows.
The pricing for Medium & Large Furniture delivery is dependent on the destinee's post-code. An estimate will be given at checkout. For international deliveries, please note that we can only provide a shipping quote for orders over £3,000.
Click & Collect
Our warehouse located in St Albans will contact you when your order is available for collection; for in stock items this is within 5 days of your order date, items not held in stock will be within 5 working days of arrival at our warehouse (see product page for indicative lead times).
Remember to bring your confirmation email with you as proof of purchase.
