About Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby
Edward Barber studied Interior Design at Leeds Polytechnic and then moved to London in 1992 where he studied Architecture and Interiors at the Royal College of Art.
Jay Osgerby studied Furniture Design at Ravensbourne College of Art. He then crossed Edward Barber’s path at the RCA where both of them followed the same curriculum. They met at the RCA in 1996 and created BarberOsgerby.
Both of them extended their diversity of design by creating a diverse portfolio of clients. They worked for clients such as Isokon Plus, Magis, Valli & Valli, Asplund, Cappellini, and Levi Strauss.
Knoll believes in creating powerful interiors that resonate creativity and comfort. Their iconic furniture has captured the imagination of international designers since their inception in 1938 and has been used ever since to reconnect people to their work, families and creative goals. Collaborations with Florence Knoll and Lella Vignelli have earned their spot in design legend, and are included a permanent collection in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
