Description
Is there a shape alive as enduring and perfect as the circle? Designers Lella and Massimo Vignelli certainly don't think so. The Mesa Due is their latest experiment into sculptural dining and features the juxtaposition of two simple geometric shapes - a conical pedestal base and its circular top. The column base is available in Grey Pietra Serena stone (only for Ø 120 cm and Ø 150 cm variants), Saddle Extra leather with contrast stitching or Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® leather with tone-on-tone stitching. The top is available in moka-stained ash, wengé-stained ash, matching Pelle Frau Colour Sphere leather, brilliant Calacatta gold marble, semi-brilliant Calacatta gold marble, brilliant Fior di Pesco marble or semi-brilliant Fior di Pesco. The marble tops are treated with an array of transparent finishes for a silkier feel and to make them more resistant to spillages. The optional Lazy Susan can be crafted from Canaletta walnut, Ash in wengé-stain or Ash in moka-stain.Year of Design
