Description
The Panarea mattress is crafted using innovative "hybrid" technology that blends micro pockets and independent springs with natural latex and horsehair for a luxurious sleep experience. Usable on both sides, it offers medium load-bearing capacity and features seven differentiated support zones, providing self-molding, anatomical support that promotes a correct sleeping posture. The mattress is non-deforming, ensuring lasting durability, and is designed to be breathable and well-ventilated for a fresh sleep environment. It is also anti-mite and made from natural materials. Composition:
1. Natural hemp. Anti-mite, jacquard weave.
2. Heat-accumulating winter padding in pure virgin wool from WOOLMARK certified shearing.
3. Padded case lining in natural cotton fabric.
4. Natural cotton protective cover over single piece of foam.
5. Rubberised, ventilated natural horsehair for the perfect breathability of the mattress. Thickness 1.5
6. Layer of 100% natural latex with differentiated load-bearing zones for the different pressure points, non-deforming, self-moulding, with open intercommunicated cells and holes for perfect breathability, density 80 kg/m3. Thickness 3 cm.
7. Compact white insulation in carded, needled, heat-fused fibres.
8. Springs in 7 differentiated load-bearing zones for the different pressure points, comprising, for the double bed, of approximately 1700 independent micro pocket springs made from carbon steel wire with diameter of 1.3 mm, tempered, self-moulding and in separate fabric pockets.
9. Perimeter box support in non-deforming, micro-perforated, high density expanded POLYCELL, micro-perforated and anti-humidity.
10. Summer padding in heat-diffusing pure staple cotton.

Being a mattress with pocket springs, Panarea is not particularly suited to a base with manual or electrical movements. Its natural match is a fixed frame.Delivery Time

Delivery & Returns

Chaplins White Glove Standard shipping service includes the following:
- Delivery up to and including 3rd floor of your building/home
- Two-man team to bring your piece to a room of your choice
- Full packaging removal
- Installation up to 30 minutes
While Chaplins has an in-house delivery team, we do employ third-party white glove services for certain deliveries, particularly those with special requirements. Please be aware that if your delivery requirements exceed our standard service, such as requiring more fitters or assembly time, surcharges may apply.
Our online sales department will contact you prior to delivery to discuss your requirements, including access checks and placement. If your order cannot be delivered due to restricted access, you may request delivery to an alternative address within 2 months - please note that this will incur costs for storage and redelivery.
For items that cannot fit into the room of choice through conventional delivery means, we can deliver via platform hoist, ropes or crane with a surcharge. Our third-party fitters are trained to remove wooden and UPVC sash windows.
The pricing for Medium & Large Furniture delivery is dependent on the destinee's post-code. An estimate will be given at checkout. For international deliveries, please note that we can only provide a shipping quote for orders over £3,000.
Click & Collect
Our warehouse located in St Albans will contact you when your order is available for collection; for in stock items this is within 5 days of your order date, items not held in stock will be within 5 working days of arrival at our warehouse (see product page for indicative lead times).
Remember to bring your confirmation email with you as proof of purchase.
