Hand-tufted with felt washers and covered in the finest quality ticking, the Bedstead Imperial is both elegant and durable. The borders are upholstered with protective wool and feature three rows of hand side-stitching for added support and longevity. Complete with horizontal handles for easy manoeuvring and air vents for enhanced airflow, this mattress delivers exceptional comfort and breathability.

We offer a range of tension options across all our mattresses to suit your needs. Please choose your preferred tension:
Soft: suitable for individuals up to 11 stone (70kg)
Medium: ideal for those between 11 - 16 stone (70kg - 102kg)
Firm: recommended for 16 - 20 stone (102kg - 127kg)
Extra Firm: for individuals over 20 stone (127kg)For couples, split tension combinations are available on mattresses 180cm wide or larger, allowing each partner to choose their preferred comfort level.
Delivery Time
4-6 weeksNot all Vispring Mattresses are available to buy online. However, the full range can be ordered via our London-based showroom where we have an array of Vitra Furniture on display. Delivery & Returns
Delivery
Chaplins White Glove Standard shipping service includes the following:
- Delivery up to and including 3rd floor of your building/home
- Two-man team to bring your piece to a room of your choice
- Full packaging removal
- Installation up to 30 minutes
While Chaplins has an in-house delivery team, we do employ third-party white glove services for certain deliveries, particularly those with special requirements. Please be aware that if your delivery requirements exceed our standard service, surcharges may apply.
Our online sales department will contact you prior to delivery to discuss your requirements, including access checks and placement. If your order cannot be delivered due to restricted access, you may request delivery to an alternative address within 2 months - please note that this will incur costs for storage and redelivery.
The pricing for Medium & Large Furniture delivery is dependent on the destinee's post-code. An estimate will be given at checkout. For international deliveries, please note that we can only provide a shipping quote for orders over £3,000.
Click & Collect
Our warehouse located in St Albans will contact you when your order is available for collection; for in stock items this is within 5 days of your order date, items not held in stock will be within 5 working days of arrival at our warehouse (see product page for indicative lead times).
Remember to bring your confirmation email with you as proof of purchase.

While the offer only applies to new designs (rather than clearance, outlets or ex-display) it’s our way of showing that we don’t just offer the best in service or style, but are committed to competitive pricing, too.
