Mart Relax MPRN_1 Lounge Chair by B&B Italia

The Mart Collection by B&B Italia is the result of years of investigation into thermoformed leather. Taking inspiration from the world of luxury footwear, Antonio Citterio created a sculptural silhouette that hugs the body in a deep and comfortable cocoon. Our favourite version is the MPRN_1 Lounge Chair which features a fixed base that allows for two different reclining positions.

Gran Comfort Archibald Armchair by Poltrona Frau

As the name suggests, the Gran Comfort Armchair is an exercise in softness. Ideal for Dad’s who spend a lot of time reading or watching TV, it features a luxurious leather cushion stuffed with rich goose down padding. D.153.1 Armchair by Molteni&C

In the acrobatic angles and bespoke upholstery, the D.153.1 Armchair reveals the hand of legendary Italian architect, Gio Ponti. First designed in 1953 for his home in Milan, it captures avant-garde Italian elegance at its finest, inviting la dolce vita into the living room.

Eames Lounge Chair by Vitra

No armchair shortlist would be complete without a mention of Vitra‘s Eames Lounge Chair. An icon since the 50s, it heralded a new era of laid-back living, in which style, comfort and informality reigned supreme.
