Designer Profile
Charlotte Perriand
Charlotte Perriand was a fiercely independent designer well before it was permitted to be so. Despite the pushbacks of her male colleagues, she pioneered an unwavering series of modernist designs, often looking to nature and Asiatic culture for inspiration. They include iconic styles like the LC7 Armchair, Mexique Desk and the Table En Forme Libre — sinuous examples of style today faithfully issued by Cassina.
