Description
The Dodo blown glass coffee table showcases the timeless Balloton technique, a hallmark of Murano's master glassmakers. This exquisite table features a body adorned with a three-dimensional pattern of crisscrossing rhombi, achieved through a specialised metal mould. As the molten glass is blown, the mould's tips shape it into the distinctive facetted pattern characteristic of the Balloton process.
At the top, a mesmerising mandala pattern emerges, slightly off-center where the mould's rhombi converge, resembling flower petals or the intricate designs found in Buddhist traditions, reflecting nature's magnificence.
