Formed as if from smoke and mirrors, the Commodore Sideboard by Piero Lissoni is crafted from tempered glass patterned with stripes or checks that distort the view through the design and slightly shelter objects placed inside. The delicate build of layers highlights shadows and textures, which act as a minimal yet enrapturing decoration. Simplicity meeting elements of the complex, the piece forms a quietly whimsical mood.
