Inspired by the frame of a bicycle and the constructivist theories of the De Stjil movement, Marcel Breuer's Wassily Lounge Chair is one of the most iconic designs to have come out of the Bauhaus School of the Arts. This limited-edition version, released to mark the School's centenary, provides an edgy new take on this much-loved classic. It features a seductive black chrome frame engraved with Breuer's signature and limited edition number, a fact sure to delight collectors and admirers of mid-century modern design. With just 500 copies in existence, Chaplins are delighted to have secured 3, 1 of which can be viewed in our 25,000 sq ft. lifestyle showroom.
