Originally designed by the prestigious Pierre Paulin in 1972 for his loft in Rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine, the Bibliotheque Fil features a handsome, ultra-minimal design - illustrating his lifelong fascination with organisation of space. The combination of the steel wire structure with the multi-ply used for its shelves creates a piece with an appealing, timeless character. Each shelf rests on steel wire hoops soldered into the uprights, and are finished with notches into which the vertical uprights of the structure are inserted. This detail increases both the aesthetic appeal and overall stability of the Bookcase, making it a piece that promises to elevate even the most unique interiors.
