About Arne Jacobsen
Arne Jacobsen is widely recognised as one of the most influential designers of all time. Born in 1907 in Denmark, Jacobsen is best known for his outstanding contributions to mid century furnishing and modernist architecture. But it was the sinuous curves of his futuristic designs The Egg™ and The Swan™ that would propel him into design legend. Effortlessly graceful and yet somehow avant-garde, his designs mastered the ultimate magic trick of being somehow classic and contemporary, all at the same time. Entrusted with prestigious task of designing The Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, his designs have enthralled artists of all kind for over a century.
