About Verner Panton
Vener Panton studied at the faculty of Architecture at the Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen. He was made famous for conceiving a cardboard house and creating the Panton Chair for Vitra.
His work is considered incredibly fun, colourful and modern and is still influencing designers and architects today. Hugely Popular, Vener Panton gave to his designs particularities making his creations original and outstanding. He described his intentions as, "the main purpose of my work is to stimulate the people to use their own power of imagination."
His visionary concepts are the basis for the space-age style of the early 70s.
