Description
The PH Septima is regarded as one of Poul Henningsen’s most refined pendants. In 2020, it returns to enchant new audiences after an 80-year hiatus from production. Its crowning glory is the seven-shade glass system crafted entirely from Italian borosilicate glass. Mesmerising in its delicacy, it taps into the enchanting, ethereal nature of light — emerging from the darkness as a living, glowing sculpture.Need a second opinion? Our design experts can assist with everything from swatches to sizing to pricing. -

Finish: Clear glass with sandblasted fields. Satin polished brass, untreated
Material: Clear glass shades with sandblasted fields.
Legs: Steel, brass metallised.
Socket housing and canopy: Satin polished brass, untreated. Please note that the brass surface is untreated and will develop a patina with time.
Cord: White textile.Based on the PH three-shade system of the PH 5/5, the glass crown has four extra shades inserted between the three basic shades - all seven produced in very delicate, but also strong, Italian borosilicate glass. The shades made of clear glass are treated to appear with alternate clear and frosted fields and are positioned so the frosted fields cover the clear fields underneath, allowing the shades to spread the light in a more diffused manner while maintaining glare-free, downward directed light distribution. In addition, a neat round glass cup is placed at the top in order to prevent dust from falling into the lamp.

Price Promise
Our Price Promise
We know that price is important. And while all of our designs follow the recommended retail prices (RRP) from our suppliers, we’re determined never to be bested.
It’s why we decided to introduce our Chaplins Price Promise. A guarantee to try and match the price of a branded product should you find it on sale at another authorised UK retailer. While the offer only applies to new designs (rather than clearance, outlets or ex-display) it’s our way of showing that we don’t just offer the best in service or style, but are committed to competitive pricing, too.
Please click on the button below should you wish to query a price. If a competitor's offer isn't immediately apparent online, we may ask you to supply us with a written quotation from the retailer — just to confirm the details.
And remember, Chaplins newsletter subscribers get an exclusive first order discount when they sign up. All of the details of which you can find in the footer below.
