Designed in 1951 by Ib Kofod-Larsen, the Knitting Chair was the first legacy piece for the Menu brand. The contemporary seating solution has been crafted with elbow cut-outs and a curved conical back for optimal comfort and style.
Materials & Finishes
The Knitting Lounge Chair features a natural oak, dark stained oak, or walnut frame treated with a wax-oiled finish. The seat and backrest are made from curved plywood and upholstered in luxurious Sheepskin available in three distinctive finishes — moonlight, cork or drake. The distinctive piece is meticulously handcrafted in Sweden by skilled artisans, merging traditional carpentry with modern technology to create an unforgettable and timeless design of the highest quality.
