Description
Designed as a pivoting wall lamp for the 'Maison Tropical', Potence is regarded as one of Jean Prouvé's puristic masterpieces. The fascination of this luminaire, which is over two metres long and dimmable, stems from the spareness of its materials and forms. Petite Potence has similar proportions to the larger model Potence, while its compact dimensions are ideally suited to smaller interiors.ean Prouvé created the first version of the Potence wall lamp in the 1940s for his own home in Nancy: a simple light bulb affixed to a long, pivoting steel bar, which is held by a steel wire. This functionalist, puristic design was soon produced in various sizes, with an added handle on larger models to facilitate the swivel movement.

SMALL FURNITURE DELIVERY
Our small furniture delivery service offers delivery right to your front door (if the destination is an apartment, flat or complex, the order will be delivered inside the entrance to the building).
Our preferred courier service will be used for most smaller orders and you can rest assured that your parcel will be trackable at every stage.
The typical delivery window is 3-5 working days from the time your items arrive at our warehouse (please note that many of our products have lead times associated with them which can be clearly seen on the product page).
All items purchased that are in stock will be sent out to you within 7 to 10 working days. All orders placed after 2pm (GMT) for in-stock items will be processed the next working day.
If you have ordered multiple items, we will send these out to you in one delivery as soon as they all arrive at the warehouse and they have been quality checked.
*Small furniture deliveries do not include assembly or unpacking. Please contact our online team if you require this service.

Designer Profile
Jean Prouve
His personal knowledge of metal founded the base of his career. As a matter of fact, once he created his workshop in 1923, he became famous for producing contemporary metal furniture with a particular design of his own. He collaborated with some of the most respected and famous French designers of his time, Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand.
