Description
Tito Agnoli was an unusual Italian architect. Born in Peru in 1931, he didn't believe in straight lines or following the status quo. As such, the designs that he created were experimental and free, sinuous expressions of style that went to the heart of how people wanted to live in the burgeoning post-war period.The 9000 collection is perhaps the clearest example of this. A fully-modular series of loungers who's curvy sectionals established a new language of conviviality for contemporary living rooms. Available as an armchair, sofa or in a variety of bespoke configurations, it's one of our favourite lost-n-found styles to launch this season.

The structure of the 9000 Sofa is crafted from a mix of metal, poplar and birch plywood. Comfort is ensured by a series of backrest elastic straps and differentiated density polyurethane foam. The feet are crafted from black lacquered metal and covered with protective nylon glides. The covers are fully removable (except for the leather version) and currently available online in Arflex’s Etoile fabric (31% Cotton, 11% Linen, 58% Viscose), Cherie fabric (32% Acrylic | 24% Cotton | 10% Linen | 3% Polyester | 26% Viscose), Mistral Velvet (100% cotton) or Topazio Super Leather.
