The secret, some suggest, is in the art of collaboration. And while creative partnerships make up an important part of the Knoll DNA, we like to think it goes a little deeper.
Knoll are one of a few companies on our roster that don't drop styles every single year. Which is to say they don’t dance to the beat of trends — despite often inadvertently setting them.
One motto at that the company is that the things you love are the things you keep. And it’s with this commitment to creating a home you’ll enjoy forever that each and every Knoll design emerges.

From the burgeoning spirit of the Bauhaus through to the golden age of the mid-century, Knoll has been an omnipresent force in making the world more beautiful.
Under the helm of co-founder Florence Knoll, the company coaxed artists like Harry Bertoia and Eero Saarinen to produce their very best work. Unveiling lounge chairs that felt like a basket of pillows. As well as dining tables that solved, once and for all, the slum of legs between tables.

The new school of Knoll designers may stand on the shoulders of giants — but they haven’t come to the party empty handed.
There is the cantilevered Newson chair, for starters. A master of monochrome living, and easily the kind of chair the Batman would use. Followed in swift succession by the Smalto tables — gorgeous glossy inventions which, for all their glamour, are resistant enough to be used outdoors.
Through a mix of modern updates and evergreen materials, they herald a new era of avant-garde style. One that understands and respects its past. While maintaining a laser-like focus on where society is going.
